STEPHANIE WOLF
(Dancer, 2nd season) Stephanie began her dancing at the age of 11 in her hometown of Atlanta, GA. She continued her training at Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance where she had the opportunity to be coached in Concerto Barocco by Violette Verdy. She has spent summers studying at the Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Chautauqua, and Martine van Hamel’s Kaatsbaan. She spent 7 seasons with the Minnesota Ballet, dancing roles in ballets by George Balanchine, Agnes de Mille, Anthony Tudor, Ginger Thatcher, Allen Fields, and Robert Gardner. One of her favorite roles with the company was Calliope, Muse of Poetry, in George Balanchine’s Apollo, which the Duluth News Tribune praised her for being “well-suited to the role of Calliope, communicating her love of verse through captivating, emotionally charged movement” She’s spent the past three summers in Saratoga Springs, NY on the staff of the New York State Summer School for the Arts Ballet Division. |
